On this screen, you will practice figuring out the (x,y)-coordinates of a given point.
Look at the example in the figure.
The point is shown as a black dot.

Look at the blue vertical line drawn through the point.
Figure out the number on the x-axis where that line meets the axis.
That number is the point's x-coordinate.

Look at the green horizontal line drawn through the point.
Figure out the number on the y-axis where that line meets the axis.
That number is the point's y-coordinate.
•
Select the 'x = ' box by clicking to the right of the equals sign.
Then type the x-coordinate of the point.
Now enter the y-coordinate in the 'y = ' box.
Click OK to check your answer.
